What happens when we do a backup and reload of your pc?

When doing a backup we can not save any programs that are installed on the computer only the data created by those programs. Original software will be required to reinstall on your formatted hard drive. If you can't provide the original software Onsite IT Services can not replace the software. If you've misplaced or did not receive the software when you purchased the computer you're required to contact that person/company to obtain new software. Any extra time spent on this issue will be charged at the going hourly rate.

Format and reload is a flat rate of $80 and is done in store not onsite with free pick up and delivery. If to be done onsite the hourly rate applies. This can take anywhere from 1.5hrs to several hours or longer!

Full backup with no security on computer (Typical cost $35)

HDD is removed from PC and placed into workshop computer, all data is removed onto workshop PC. Once the backup is complete HDD is then returned to your computer, it's formatted and reloaded with all supplied software. Backup is then copied back to the newly loaded hard drive into a folder on the desktop called backup.

Full backup with security on computer ( Typical cost is $55)

HDD is removed from PC and placed into workshop computer, security is removed from all files/folders that are protected - this does take quite some time! Once all files are accessible data is copied to the workshop computer, once complete HDD is reinstalled into your computer. It's then formatted and reloaded with all supplied software. Backup is then copied back to the newly loaded hard drive into a folder on the desktop called backup. 

Basic backup (Typical Cost 35.00 for main user & $5 extra per user)

Basic backup consists of - My Documents, Favorites, Outlook/express emails, & address book copied to removable media (memory stick, cd or dvd media)

Further clarifications of this document is to be done before any work commences, no argument will be entered into about the loss of programs or software installed on any any PC that has been formatted by Onsite IT Services. Signing the job sheet is a contract that you fully understand this document.
